High-tech Zone High-tech Industrial Competitiveness Evaluation

The high-tech industry and its emergence and development is the profound changes in the field of technology, and High-tech Development Zone is the most concentrated region of high-tech industries. In the new century, the development of high-tech industries has put forward higher requirements. This thesis attempts to competitiveness from the perspective of high-tech industry development zones on the evaluation of the competitiveness of high-tech industries, and provide policy recommendations for promoting high-tech industries.Firstly, the thesis explores the definition of high-tech industries and its characteristics, the competitiveness of industries, the recall and analysis of the competitiveness of high-tech industries on the basis of the theory, such as Ricardo's theory of comparative advantage, Schumpeterian theory of innovation, Porter diamond theory, and Improved the diamond theory.Secondly, learning from our predecessors in the competitiveness of industries evaluation indicator system and the theory of industries competitiveness ,and designs the high-tech zones and high-tech industrial competitiveness evaluation. A survey is used to collect experts on the evaluation indicators, applies The Analytic Hierarchy Process to the analysis of the results of the survey for the weights, thus, competing the High-tech zones and high-tech industrial competitiveness evaluation model.Finally, the model will be used to evaluate the competitiveness of industries in Suzhou high-tech zones, and has achieved good results. Based on the results of the models and second development, the thesis gives policy recommendations for upgrading the high-tech zones in Suzhou industrial at the last part.
