Hi-tech industries occupy the position of great influence in the economy of a country. The government of all countries pays great attention to hi-Tech industries by the increased support. With the development of hi-tech industries, more hi-tech products enter into international trade. The trade competition of hi-tech products among different Countries becomes boost up. So, the dispute of trades in hi-tech products will continuously increase. In the recent years, hi-tech industries in China grow faster and the percents of trade are enhanced. The development of hi-tech industry depends on the international market more and more. So, it is necessary to study the disputes of trade in hi-tech products thoroughly. We should explore the way how to make good use of the World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, especially the Dispute Settlement Understanding to safeguard the development of hi-tech industry in nice circumstances of international economy.Researching by the case method, this article studies the way governments of each different country under the WTO, in which to settle the dispute of trade in hi-tech products. Though, the aim is to search the appropriate means to the dispute settlement of high-tech products that fit the feature and reality of China. The article is separated into four parts and has more than twenty six thousand words in all.In the first part, I started from the basic definitions of hi-tech, hi-tech industry, hi-tech product. Then I introduce the features and the actualities of the dispute of hi-tech product. According to the analysis of the two cases in the second part, I searched for the useful experience of the developed Countries in dispute settlement of hi-tech product. In the third part, I cited the cases of dispute in between China and America, by discovering the defects and the successes in the dispute settlement of China. The fourth part is the stress of the article, making good use of the Dispute in Settlement Body, participating in the dispute settlement as a third part, overcoming the disadvantage clauses to China in the agreement of entering WTO, strengthening the general capacity to deal well with the dispute of high-tech product. All the measures that I listed above can ensure and lead the high-tech products of China successfully to the international trades.Lastly, with the increase of trade disputes of the hi-tech products, we can keep the benefit of trade if we can manage the dispute in the manner of scientific and rational. We can settle the dispute well by using the international regulations flexibly.
