China's Female Tourism Safety Study

Females began traveling a long time ago, while there had been few scholars in the world focusing on female tourists until 1980s as a result of the male's dominance in society and female subtle proportion in tourists in the past. Nowadays, with the improvement of female position both in society and economy, and also the change of the family fabric, females gradually become the main force of the tourist market, this phenomenon is especially evident in some developed countries; for example, female business tourists account for 40% in all American business tourists, meanwhile, in China, female tourists has also makes up 54.2% of all Chinese tourists. However, there is still little research on female tourists today, not to mention the research related to the safety issue about female tourists.With the rapid increase of female tourists in number, safety and security issue of female tourists becomes more and more necessary; this thesis classifies and trims all the related 300 literatures the autor collects in English or Chinese, based on this, it gives an elebrate literature review to the study related safety and security of female tourists.Following the principles such as phenomenonâ†'nature, specialtyâ†'common, causeâ†'countermeasure, and theoryâ†'practice, this thesis tentatively sums up the characteristics, rules, and explicit forms of the safety and security issue about female tourists.; after this, this paper analyses the related issues of female tourists accidents, and puts forward the accident happening model named"three issues, five stages", followed with the actual accidents in the later part to verify the model; then it founds the safety control and management system from the perspective of female tourists, and establishes the guide to the safety and security of female tourists.The innovative points of this thesis:1. New theme selection: this is the first article that studies the safety and security issue of Chinese female tourists systematically and comprehensively.2. New theoretical frame: this thesis analyzes the characteristics, rules, and explicit forms of female tourists'safety and security issue with both theoretic and statistic support, so it expends the theretical frame of the safety study.3. New models: it establishes the happening model of female tourists'accidentsand the control and management system of female tourists'accidents, which will provide an instruction of the practical opperation.
