As a modern logistics enterprise, Taizhou Port is a common one among the port along the Yangtze River, mainly engaged in port discharging and loading business. Used to be stated-owned and is priorly authorized by the State Council to reform and open to the outside. As the largest logistics service company, it is one of the most successful reconstructed private holding companies in Taizhou.Though located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, Taizhou Port is the key of the international supply chain. Not stated-owned now, Taizhou Port is still an indispensable link in the national recourse management. Though it owns several kilometers of the golden shorelines, it faces fierce competition with many ports in higher and lower reaches of the river. As a private-owned holding company, Taizhou Port still assumes the unique functions and responsibilities in developing local economics and promoting the quality of its thousands of employees' life.With both generations and restrictions in the field consisting of universe, earth and humankind, Taizhou Port has it own dialectic field. Holding leadership as the hardcore, the board chairman keeps to improve the company culture and management by his self-promotion, awarding & punishment and the company's systematic regulations. "Ocean outside the river, Bay inside the port" as its slogan, its company culture indicates the leadership just like breath cycling, affecting and guiding the company management. Management, standing for blood cycling, supports and proves the company culture through reaching ISO9001 accreditation, emphasizing customers values, offering logistics products and making the company to achieve more and more goals. In view of historical reasons, Taizhou Port still stands in the process of transition to a modern service and system, which can only be processed step by step. Leadership not only needs to hold the direction through company culture, but also needs to inspire the company to move forward through company management. Culture and management are independent, just like front and rear wheels of a car. This process is an upgrading movement field as well. Scientifically mastering the dialectic relationship of leadership, culture and management, Taizhou Port is certainly to achieve a new integrated transition more efficiently.As the essential three constituents of enterprise, leadership, corporate culture and corporate management must be realized and utilized with an comprehensive, interrelated and evolving vision. The control of leadership level, the practice of corporate culture as well as the general rule and method of enterprise management will not only verify the operational process of enterprises, but also depend on the ability of the leaders to control the overall situation and meet difficulties head-on. Leader solve the difficulties and break the barriers for the company, Absorb the essence of the universe.
