Zg Shipping Group Counter-cyclical Strategy

This paper is based on the analysis and research of the successful development of ZG Shipping Group upon taking the Counter Cyclical Strategy, systemically described the complete concept of the Strategy, carried out researches with practical significance on the topic that how shipping companies to overcome the conundrum of the shipping industry's cyclical fluctuations by taking such Strategy.The research began from the analysis of the formation of the company's Counter Cyclical Strategy, followed by the detailed introduction of its content and implement steps, demonstrated the initial results after the operation by comparisons between massive data before and after taking the strategy, analyzed and demonstrated the internal factors leading the Strategy to the success by utilizing theories and methods of established modern strategic management theories, eventually improved and strengthened the Strategy theoretically from the point of view that how shipping companies to utilize the Counter Cyclical Strategy effectively.The results of this paper are: analyzed and demonstrated the nature of the shipping industry, described the concept of the Counter Cyclical Strategy and the complete circle of itself, proved the mechanism factors leading the Strategy to success theoretically, summarized general solutions and conclusions on how shipping companies to overcome the Industry's cyclical fluctuations by taking the Counter Cyclical Strategy. Furthermore, in regarding with the current situation of the shipping market, given necessary advices with Counter Cyclical Strategy point of view on ZG Group's developing strategy for the 2^nd half of the 11^th Five-year Plan period.It is the first time to put forward the Counter Cyclical Strategy theory focusing on the researches of the shipping company. Due to the important strategic position of the shipping industry in the whole national economy, the Counter Cyclical Strategy solutions raised and demonstrated by this paper shall have considerable higher value of application and practical significance.
