Addressing the long standing issues of agriculture, countryside and peasants is the major taskChina faces. Among the issues, increasing peasants' incomes is the most crucial one.The article analyses issues such as "social division of labor,marketization, urbanization,public product supply, farmland polices, social capital, rural distribution, as well as theirrelevance with each other.Research methods adopted include documentary research, comparative research,contradiction analysis, combining both normative and positive research approaches, andcombining theoretical research with polices.Through theoretical analysis, the article reveals connotations and quantification measures ofthe "relevance", and develops a series of ideas regarding the relevance, which provide aperspective to increasing peasants' incomes, and theoretical basis and tool for furtheranalysis.In the light of the theoretical ideas, the article discusses and defines the relevance between theissues and peasants incomes, and analyses the issues' actual impacts over increasing peasants'incomes, which include both positive and negative ones.Finally, the article brings forward measures to address the problems in terms of boostingpeasants' incomes, and further discusses the mechanism that will guarantee steady growth ofpeasants' incomes and relevant policy proposals.
