The Process Of Industrialization In The Traditional Agricultural Areas, Livestock And Related Industries Research

Traditional agricultural regions have been permanently designated as national grain production areas, undertaking the important task of providing grains to the country and maintaining national grains security, with deep-rooted agriculture, the primary industry. Inertia effect of traditional production mode have made the industrial structure and development mode formatted, resulting in industrialization trapped in difficulties.Industrialization is the only way to modernization, and an important mark of economic development and strength of a country or a region. Boosting industrialization, increasingly improving industrial development, gradually reducing regional difference with eastern costal developed regions should be the goal of economic development of traditional agricultural regions. But, industrialization does not mean only a few industrial projects. In terms of a traditional agricultural region with superior agriculture, it is necessary to have industrialization based on the actual condition, namely, local resources, technology, labor force, information, market, transportation and external conditions, choose adaptable development routes to boost industrialization, especially combine industrialization with agricultural modernization and form an interactive mechanism, avoid obvious shock against grain production and security while improving industrial development, which needs consideration and research.This paper adopted combination of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, made theoretical qualitative analysis of basic connotations and mutual relations of industrialization, agricultural modernization, animal husbandry of the agricultural region, and empirical quantitative analysis of interactive development of the above mentioned aspects.According to this research, "issues concerning farm, farmer and farming" is the most important in agricultural regions. It is necessary to have industrialization boost on the basis of harmonious economic development in urban and rural areas, combined with urbanization and agricultural modernization. It is necessary to develop the modern industry and make the non-industrial production mode transfer to the industrial production mode, transfer the self-contained agriculture to the modern market agriculture, improve development of farm, farmer and farming. Only industrialization with farm, farmer and farming benefited and improved is the real and characteristic and effective industrialization.Then, what industry can exert the required correlation and support effect? Through site investigation and analysis in Henan Province, a key traditional agricultural province, this paper held that, as pillars of traditional industries and agricultural industrialization in agricultural regions, indispensable income sources of farmers and ties linking urban and rural markets, animal husbandry and related industries (feedstuff, animal remedy and food processing) have obvious industrialization foundation and environment, and are effective carriers of traditional agricultural region to realize industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization. It is necessary for traditional agricultural regions to take animal husbandry and related industries as an independent industry and vigorously develop it so as to seek an industrialization way adaptable to the practical situation of agricultural regions.The main development measures include active transformation of the traditional agriculture, development of animal husbandry with an industrial idea, taking processing of meat, eggs and milk as the priority, boosting industrialization of traditional agricultural regions with leading industrialization of animal husbandry. Meanwhile, in terms of national grain security, it is necessary to pay attention to comprehensive development and rational utilization of feedstuff resources, and establish the foodstuff industry with Chinese characteristics.
