National Government Exploration And Development Of Oil Resources In The Northwest,

On the basis of former study,this essay systemically discusses the history in exploring petroleum in northwest of China by the National Government (1927-1949),in which period quick development took place in petroleum industory,and relatively good achievement was acquired.After a sketch in exploration in northwest of China for petroleum in the late Qing Dynasty ,and in the Northern Warlords Government of China, the National Government is taken as the mainly object,which will be discussed on the aspects as macropolicy, administrative institutions, and the diffculties in exploration. For the above three aspects, the diffculties will be discussed detailedly through traffic, capital, facilities, infrastructures, labor resources, and local influence, and therefore the National Government' s achievement will be evaluated. Generally say, the work done by the National Government has built certain basis for the development in petroleum industory after the National War. At last, the writer tries to give a impersonal appraisement to the achievement by the National Government in exploring petroleum in northweat of China.
