Nowadays, a variety of commercial advertising is full of every area of our lives. As the designed works abound in the public places, commercial advertising is continuing to spread information that contains business information and other composite information. People's demands on commercial advertising have also been multiple dimensions. The facts are the same, in the time of passing information of goods and services, expanding market share, active business, commercial advertising also plays an important role at leading social trend, passing cultural concept, and promoting social values. However, in real life, there is still the phenomenon of missing design dimensions; some simply pursue economic efficiency, not to consider their social responsibility. Lack of honesty, waste resources, crudely made, get out of line or even illegal advertising is commonplace. These have greatly affected our country's healthy development of commercial advertising. In constructing a "harmonious society" today, stressing the multi-dimensional design requirements of commercial advertising, unifying commercial advertising's economic dimension and the other dimensions of advertising requirements, making the win-win among enterprises, public and community, is the rational demands of new era advertising development and prosperity. This paper adopts the ways of interviews and questionnaires for the closely related people to commercial advertising, such as part of advertisers, advertising designers, advertising audience, conducts an investigation on the commercial advertising design multi-dimensional problem, commercial advertising status quo and the main problem. On the basis of statistics, induction and the analysis, we propose the views that commercial advertising should and must be designed multi-dimensionally. And aiming at the current status of China's commercial advertising, we take considerations on multi-dimensional commercial advertising design; make our own efforts to the healthy and orderly development of commercial advertising industry.
