Singapore and Malaysia are the neighbor of geography. They used to be"twins" on the history. These two countries have respective advantage on the development of economy. Their models of economic development are similar, resource is compensatory to each other and their frames of industry are interdependent because of their colonized by the same country. However, Singapore and Malaysia have never managed to smoke the calumet together. This paper tries to analysis the complex and ambivalent relationship on economy by the theory of interdependence. It take the price of water as an example to analysis their relationship concretely. From the example we can easy to know that Singapore and Malaysia have obvious impartibility. They should scan the international economic system on the base of the theory of interdependence, and realize the importance of their harmony. Singapore and Malaysia also should take effective action to cooperate with each in order to make a better future and create new resplendence on economy.
