A Study On The Economic Development Of Singapore During The Lee Kuan Yew Era

With the deepening of the globalization of the economy, shara and competition have become the theme of the development of the world economy, and the coexisting of the opportunity and challenge have become a fact that every country must be faced. Any country that is conservative and isolated will fall behind the development of the time. This paper plans to explore the pattern and universal law of the economy development in Singapore, through the research in the economy structure, the economy increase manner, the motivity system that has promoted the economy development and the interaction among them during the Lee Kuan Yew era. In the realism aspect, the economy policy of pragmatism, the idea that let the outstanding person to manage the country, the flexible and pragmatic foreign policy and national policy coexisting of many nations have stated advantage and could keep up with the development of the time, which could be as reference by the developing country.
