Icbc Credit Suisse Asset Management Development Strategy

ICBC Credit Suisse Asset Management Co. Ltd.( ICBCCS ) is the first asset management joint venture initiated and held by a commercial bank. This article identifies the ICBCCS's comparative strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges arising from the environment changes by summarizing and analyzing the development history and trend of mutual fund management industry in China, including ICBCCS's internal and external environment, capabilities and resources comprehensively.The article proposes that the ICBCCS's development strategy is to become the biggest company in the mutual fund management industry, and ICBCCS should become the top 10 of the industry by taking the advantage of its shareholder in the next three years.To achieve its goal ICBCCS should take some actions including HR strategy, marketing strategy, and the product strategy.This article was divided into six chapters: firstly, to explain the objective, value and main ideas. And in the second part, introduces the development history and trend of the domestic fund management industry. Thirdly, analyzes the ICBCCS internal and external environment. In the fourth chapter, proposes the ICBCCS's development strategy based on SWOT analysis. Fifthly, drafts the detailed strategic implementation plans. Finally, summarizes all my points of view.
