Development Of Industrial Agglomeration And The Relationship Between Regional System Of Innovation Capability Study

In recent years, a batch of industrial clusters that have the tremendous influence inside and outside Jiangsu province have been forming in Changzhou and vigorously promoting the local economic growth. Along with the development of industrialization, the restraints of the resources and environment unfold day by day. It is a pressing task for Changzhou to transformation the mode of economy growth. Under the background, it is necessary to study the realistic condition of the industrial agglomeration and development, measure the ability of the regional institutional innovation in Changzhou, analyze the dynamic relation between them and put forward the countermeasures of promoting industrial agglomeration and development based on the angle of institutional innovation.The thesis has 6 parts with the first part as the introduction. At the beginning, the background of choosing this topic is introduced. Then the thesis reviews the relevant research at home and abroad. At last it briefly summarizes the contents of the research and methods used during the whole process.In part 2, the situations of agglomeration and development of labor-intensive industry, capital-intensive industry and technology-intensive industry are inspected and the results show that some industrial clusters that have the tremendous influence inside and outside Jiangsu province have come into being. The level of agglomeration and development of manufacturing are estimated and demonstrate that, compared to the past, the level has the certain extent enhancement. In part 3, the synthetic estimation of the ability regional institutional innovations are carried based on choosing reasonably evaluating indicators and method. The result indicated that Changzhou's ability of regional institutional innovations rose first then drop slightly. In part 4, based on analysis method of time series econometrics, like the unit root test, the cointegration test, the causal test, the impulse response analysis and the variance decomposition technology, the dynamic relations between the level of agglomeration and development of manufacturing and the ability of regional institutional innovations in Changzhou are analyzed. The result shows that the influence of the agglomeration and development of manufacturing on the ability of regional institutional innovations is bigger than the influence of the ability of regional institutional innovations on the agglomeration and development of manufacturing in Changzhou. At the same time, the result also indicates that Changzhou's regional institutional innovations also have the very big space. In part 5, based on the different type industries and the angle of view of institutional innovations, the pointed countermeasures about institutional arrangements are put forward. The questions which the government ought to pay attention in the course of institutional arrangements are pointed out simultaneously.The 6th part is a summary and figuring the problems needing further discussion.
