With the stepwise open of the market,the more furious competition og the China airlines,the weaken of the administrative protection,and the substitution of the developing railway system,China airlines market is now step to more and more marketable status.Every airlines are trying to find a path out,choosing the right hub and air routes,which are good for the stablbity of their own,be sure on the long term development and settle a stable basement for survival.CTU-LXA route is very important for the constraction og Chengdu hub as a tactic resource.This essey is based on the analysis of CTU-LXA rountes,which is for the further understanding of the history and current situation of CTU-LXA routes.According to these annalysis,Air China can choose the proper strategic direction on the route.This essey analysis the CTU-LXA route with PEST and SWOT tools which are based on prosecution history,the administrative elments,the tourism resouces,the competitors,and CA management on this route.At the same time,we've revised some parts of the statistics without effect the result because of business secrecy.This essey has described the CTU-LXA market and channel distrbution situation,from the current status of competitors and substitution system,which will give us a more specific description on the furious competetion and crisis of Air China.Meanwhile,with the emphasize on the advantages of CTU-LXA route,and the possible existance as the hub air route in Chengdu area,we will analysis Air China on the aircrafts configuration,market share,marketing resources,distribution system etc.Finally we will propose some suggestions for Air China on this air route,especially network construction,which will lead to a priority status in this market,retain the leading position in this route,therefore improving the competitive abilities,strengthen the control potence,as well as reasonable and abundance market policies,Air China will stablize the flight revenue and found a very massive base in southwest China area.It will be short of integrity caused by personal limitation of experiences and time,especially on the market prospective ability.Please don't be hesitate to point it out on the shortcomes of my paper.I will be appreciate for your kindly help.
