The structure of recreation ground is the most important factor to effect the development of the city tourism, which has become a great supported of the national tourism development. Scholars have paid close attention to it. Along with the reestablishing of the national vacation system in 2008, perigee tourism and city recreation have become a major way of people's recreation in holidays. The contradiction between supply and demand in tourism is extrusive in sea front cities, which have the similar and centralized tourism resources. Some of this kind of cities always use the copying way to develop their tourism and without any characteristic. It can supplies a scientific basis for the recreation ground program from researching the structure of recreation ground in sea front cities, and can help to rationalize the structure of recreation ground, excavate the characteristics of sea front cities and make a nucleus competitive strength. The research of the structure of recreation ground includes two sides: the supply side which is the arrangement of recreation ground, and the demand side which is the arrangement of inhabitant behavior. This essay manly study the structure of recreation ground in sea front cities based on landscape ecology theory and recreation system theory, and makes a material research by taking Qingdao for example. The essay finally finds the point of optimizing the structure of recreation ground in sea front cities is achieving a balance between supply and demand. It could convenient for the inhabitant's life and attract tourists by reasonably using resource in each sector and deeply exhuming the cultural connotation and history to be the city's characteristics, and finally to promote the urban competitiveness.
