For us such a big agricultural country which has a majority of rural population, solving problems of old-age farmers and exploring pension system models for old-age in rural areas are greatly significant not only to improve China's social security system , but also to promote the new socialist countryside construction and to build a harmonious society.Accompanied by a series of changes in China's rural society, especially the large-scale transfer of rural labor force, rural old-age problems have become increasingly prominent. Although researches on China's rural old-age pension are numerous, studies of macro-model system of old-age featured by a mutual coordination are rather less. So particularly, from this aspect, the thesis discusses the "family and social old-age pension, retirement communities, self-combination of old-age pension diversity model" and puts forward a thinking of China rural old-age mode at this stage following the way of gradual transition and multi-level and diversity . The thesis consists of four chapters:Chapter I, showing an overview of the transfer of rural labor force and the old-age models ,defining the concept of transferring of rural labor force and old-age models, giving lists of relevant theories and the present research results both home and abroad about patterns of rural old-age.Chapter II, expressing the status of China's rural labor transfer and old-age models. A large-scale rural labor transfer starts with China's urbanization process. Affected by rural labor transfer and other factors, traditional family pension model occupies the dominant position, but other pension models have been developped slowly.Chapter III, analysing the impact of model about pension as a result of China's rural labor force transfer. Firstly, analysing the factors that affect the choice of pension model, then combining with the reality of our country in order to find the specific influences, finally, Taking FanJi of Xiangcheng city in Henan Province as an example, and pointing out the fact of china's rural old-age pension is not optimistic for the floating rural labor force .Chapter IV, pointing out measures of how to solve rural old-age problems with various ways. Government shoud assume the corresponding responsibilities in the proceeding. Holding the perfect principle of china's rural old-age support models with diversified, gradual and multi level, considering the factors of economy and social cultures comprehensively. On one hand, advocate family pension model highly; On the other hand, developing social old-age positively, expanding community-based old-age constantly, directing self-pension rightly, integrated all ways together to explore and improve multi-level and diversified model system for the old-age in rural areas.
