In western society, graffiti art is a behavior by which young people relieve their feelings, exhibiting their passions and culture viewpoints. Today, as a fashion mode, graffiti closely integrated with the business design, becoming the components of popular culture.In this paper, in terms of the characteristics and meanings of graffiti art, from the multi-angle about public aesthetic culture, the relationship between graffiti art and public advertisement is analyzed. From this paper, the vertical main line is the origin, developing trends, form features of graffiti art, and the horizontal main line is the characteristics and developing law of advertising art. Crisscrossing the two, the advertising art forms and the meanings of graffiti style are presented. From this perspective, it can be thought about contemporary advertising art how to combine the rich information and the culture of human, how to design a new art form with the age features according to consumer psychology and visual mind to meet the development direction of advertising art.
