Price competition has been an important element of the study in economics, in this tough competitive market a lot of enterprises are concerned of price competition strategy. Price is the most commonly used in the marketing process, which is always a matter of course, for whom can sell quickly. But short-term often lead to serious consequences, and the sale made by lower price is not made of real enterprise market share.Carrier is a global HVAC products manufacturer with annual revenue at more than US$10billion, with the wave of globalization and development of air-conditioning manufacturing industry in China, the global strategy of the Chinese market is becoming more and more prominent, so China is of course very important for Carrier. Today, American businesses are afraid of the "China price" - the price China is better than competitors by 30% to 50%. Carrier enters the Chinese market as the first international brands, in the face of increasingly fierce competition, how to hold onto market share, sales growth? In this paper, this would be useful, which I hope through this study to analyze the problems frequently encountered in price management such as the usage of low-price strategy, price strategy for channel sales, pricing strategies in line with product life cycle. Discuss and analyze how to use pricing positioning to guide sales strategy.Base on the analysis of external environment, it' s discussed the Carrier's competitive advantage and competitive strategy combined with products and competitors. Carrier makes its own products, price, cost, promotion and channel strategy according to the competitive strategy. In this article, the price competition Carrier faced and strategies to deal with are both explored in-depth analysis. This paper includes price management processes, price strategy in line with product differentiation strategy, price policies of a variety of channels, the price for bidding competition, and how to use pricing policies to implement the product strategy, market positioning, achieve the combination sales, and fight against competitors.The objective of this article is to provide proposal solutions not only to Carrier on its pricing strategy and management, but also to other similar multinational HVAC companies as reference.
