During those large & moderate sized corporations represented by Foxconn, the speed and scale of productions have a deep effect on the profits of theirs. As Foxconn mainly substitute to many word-famous brands for their product processing at the present stage, the profits that gains only account for about 10% of the whole profits chain. Therefore, we must make sure that each step of manufacture is smooth. The molds which produce the finished products are the most important linchpin. The stage of molds, manufacture of cycle, as well as the time for maintaining can fully impact delivery date. As the core of the molds-----cores and cavities which its speciality------are unpractical to implement cosmically produce (as for the duplicate molds requested by the massive production, those quantity would not be too much and therefore can be still regarded as specific purchase orders). As for the parts and accessories of the molds, if its storages are too much, it will lead to the accounts be delay as well as waste of storage management; on the contrary, if there are not enough, will result in break of production because of lacking, delivery date being delay and the fall of clients'satisfaction even lose their orders, in these views, the short storages may lead to high cost.In this article, I have made a detail study about the characteristics of the parts and accessories of molds', after the analysis of ABC, we can find that, all those can be basically divided into two categories. As for one kind of them which are more and steady demanded in every mold, is accord with characteristics of EOQ mold, so it fits for being solved by EOQ mold. Then we can combine with the actual conditions of our department, and refer to the historic information, make the forecast of point of order and quantity demands.As for the rest which have less qualities and high price, need to be machined according to their specific design. Aim at this kind of parts and accessories, by dint of dynamic programming method, we can program the forecast mold which could update the estimate of demands according to adding historic information. With help of this mold, we can calculate our demands in order to reduce the total cost of storages and reduce the discarding material.
