The issue of peasantry, countryside and farming is the main problem that obsessed the sustainable, rapid and healthy development of Chinese economy. The fundamental cause of the problem is that rural areas lack sufficient capital support. Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) applies microfinance business, which well fills in the gap in peasant household and small enterprises loans market which commercial bank neglects. How to solve the problem of "difficult to access credit" for the peasant and small business while at the same time to promote the microfinance sustainable development of PSBC has a very important theoretical and practical significance. This paper starts with the microfinance's basic concept, use the microeconomics, sustainable development theory and monetary and financial theory, from both macro and micro aspect, and theoretically analyze the elements which influence the microfinance sustainable development of PSBC. In order to measure the sustainable development extent to which microfinance of PSBC reach, twelve basic indicators set up from five aspects, that is the region's economic development level, the rural market orientation, the interest rate policy, the management level of PSBC, the social credit environment. A mathematical model is established to assess and analyze of the case, on which several proposals about promoting the microfinance sustainable development of PSBC policy are provide. The innovation of this paper lies in Firstly Summing up the influential factors of the microfinance sustainable development of PSBC, designs a measurable indicator system of sustainable development for microfinance in PSBC and analyses of a virtual case. The insufficient section lies in the intact state of the indicator system's design, leading to the incomplete demonstration in case analysis, which needs a further studying in work and practice in the days to come.
