China reform and opening policy started in 1978. In the past thirty years, Chinese electronic and information manufacture industry has been developing speedily and healthily. It has become NO. 1 industry in Chinese economy. Under the background of economy globalization and tough industry competition, Chinese electronic and information manufactures have to go aboard and explore oversea market. Thus, whether internationalization can really help Chinese company improve corporate performance and develop in a healthy and fast way becomes a focus much cared by a lot of people. This thesis is to discuss the relationship between internationalization, firm-specific advantages (R&D and advertising) and corporate performance. The result is expected to be a good reference for Chinese electronic and information manufactures.Data of 91 listed companies in Shenzhen and Shanghai stock market are recorded. All are belong to electronic and information manufacture industry. After correlate analysis and regression by SPSS, it shows that the relationship between the degree of internationalization and corporate performance is like a "U" curve, i.e. it decrease at the beginning, but it increase after some threshold. When it comes to R&D and advertising which are the proxy of firm specific advantages, the relationship of R&D intensity and corporate performance is also like a "U" curve, R&D investment has a threshold effect to corporate performance; advertising intensity has no clear relationship with corporate performance.
