Along with the complexity of social and economic environment, the difficulty of management and decision-making task, group decision-making has been a hot topic and the leading edge of nowadays decision-making theory research. Due to group is large, members of group are dispersive, decision-making time and position is unfixed, which means needing more members to participate in decision-making. The decision-making group has been a complex large group. Nowadays most group decision-making methods are for small group, many of which can not be used to large group decision-making. Preference information based on utility value given by experts has many merits, such as simple, ease to use and so on, but researches on this aspect are disorder, and have not form a system. Aim at the problem of large group decision-making based on utility valued preference information, the paper puts forward a method system to solve this problem.The major works of the paper mainly includes following few aspects:(1) Detailed analyzed the research actuality and developing direction of group decision-making theory and method, group decision-making support system, provide theory support for further research.(2) A series of methods was putted forward to solve the problem of large group decision-making based on utility valued preference information, forming a method system to solve this problem. Firstly, the entropy weight method was brought to appraise decision members' information, to delete these members who provide less information and to predigest group decision-making process. Secondly, classify these members using the clustering method, to confirm members' weights by use of the clustering result, and obtain the ordering vector of decision schemes through the synthesizing of members' weight vector and utility matrix. Then put forward the index of members' opinion reflection degree to measure the degree of members' opinion is reflected by decision-making result, evaluate the result of group decision-making.(3) Using the method to solve the problem of large group decision-making based on utility valued preference information to solve the problem of large group decision-making based on internal number utility valued preference information and the problem of large group decision-making based on uncertainty language variable preference information.(4) A method to solve the problem of multiple attribute large group decision-making with time series based on utility valued preference information was put forward. Firstly, transforming multiple attribute large group decision- making problem at each time segment into sole attribute large group decision-making problem at this time segment, to get group decision-making result at each time segment; then obtain the finally decision- making result through the synthesizing of time weight vector and group decision-making result matrix.(5) Developed a large group decision-making system using MATLAB GUI, to expand the application prospect of the methods put forward by the paper.
