For enterprises to survive and develop in the cutthroat competition environment, In the world, many enterprises are taking the improvements of new products' development and management abilities as the important resources to improve the core competition power. However, because of the variable market and customer demands, as well as inefficient management, the new products' developments are facing many problems and challenges. To change this situation essentially, the management of new products development must be reconsidered. The thought and method of modern project management show probability for the change.This paper starts from analyzing the characteristics of new products' developments management, studies on the MD bus Company. Using the basic theory of project management and the theory and method of new products' developments' management to analyze the current problems existing in the management of new products' developments in MD, and puts forward measures to solve the problems in order to improve the efficiency and quality of new products' developments in MD.The paper combines theory with practice; the studies refer to the applications in practice of structure management, scope management, time management, communication management, Risk Management and knowledge management, which belong to project management. Because the project management in Chinese Motor Industry develops only for a short time with little experience, we need to analyze, study and guide the motor enterprises to make use of the thought and method of project management to improve their management, their anti-venture ability as well as their competition power. I hope the improvement measures of MD mentioned in the paper can be used for reference by other motor enterprises.
