Modern large hub ports occupy a more prominent position. The operation and management of wharves are gradually brought in a harmonious chain with the whole transportation. As a modern propeller and connection in logistics service field, Dalian Port is a linking point of land and water transportation in the north east. Regarding the comprehensive functions of port, multimodal transportation, goods distribution, transition, warehousing, freight forwarding and shipping, information services, and EDI capabilities, production and life assistance and so on, powerful managing measurements and IT system are required to coordinate and make full use of all kinds of resources to build an advanced logistics service system.This thesis aims to study the construction of CRM IT system of Dalian Port, combined with the practice of the construction of the CRM system of third generation international ports, Dalian Port enterprise strategy, requirements of business development and business management. It analyzes the present status of the construction of CRM system of Dalian Port and urgent needs for development. And finally, it makes an attempt of practice of the project of the construction of CRM system of Dalian Port, under the guidance of the strategy of an overall planning and a step-by-step implementation. This research involves the existing internal IT systems, external information exchanging platform with an application of EDI, BI, DW (Data Warehouse), RFID and other information technologies. It focuses on the study and practice of the construction of analysis CRM, with a little reference of operating CRM.At present, the construction of CRM system of Dalian Port has been partly completed. The task of the analytical platform of the CRM system of Dalian Port has been accomplishment. Each section is in a smooth operation. The desired goal has been reached.
