Current Status And Countermeasures Of China's Private Banking Business

Private banking business from retail banking, wealth management in the top of the pyramid, with some characteristics such as special target group, professional and wide range of services, the major profit contribution, and become the most development potential business, which is subject to the foreign banks attracted more attention.With the rapid accumulation of social wealth, the needs of wealth management from the right side of the tracks became mature; the great potentials of private banking customer base have been gradually formed.At the same time, the private banking business have got a huge development in China with China's commercial banks to implement the business transformation strategy to deepen financial markets, fierce attacks of foreign banks in the development of the high quality customers.However, China's private banking business has just started, as compared with foreign private banking; it is clearly insufficient that bottlenecks of the external legal environment for the development exist in the internal management concept, organizational structure, marketing system, professionals, products and services.This paper collects the experiences and characteristics to explore the development of private banking business in China, the driving force development of foreign banks in the current situation, and the overseas development of private banking business, as well as the clients and investment features on the right side of the tracks.
