Since 1990s, with the economy development and globalization, people pay more and more attentions to occupational health and safety. Health, safety and environmental protection are now required for modern products, prduction system, service system and trade system. Some multinational enterprises, while strengthening their quality management, have established self-disciplines and management systems for occupational health and safety, which helps improve their enterprise images and also better control the losses caused by occupational injuries. It is very important and necessary for Chinese enterprises to set up complete occupational health and safety management systems, which will help the enterprises with their sustainable development and undertake social responsibilities.The study object in this paper is Occupational Health and Safety management system of CFME. A CFME occupational health and safety management system has been worked out with consideration of auto engine industry characteristics. After explaining the basic concepts and theories of occupational health and safety management system, comparision and analysis have been made between OHSA18000 system and Ford SHARP system in the paper. According to analysis and conclusion of CFME current occupational health and safety management status, CFME occupational health and safety management system is composed based on OHSA18000 and Ford SHARP systems. The last part is to evaluate the operations of this system and put forward suggestions for improvement. As an exploration of mangement system for both attestation audit and assessment, CFME occupational health and safety management system has reference value for the occupational health and safety management in auto and engine industries.
