Study Of The Gap Between Rich And Poor In The Process Of Modernization In Brazil

Brazil is one of the largest developing countries whose modernization begins early in Latin America. The great achievement of'Brazilian miracle'by the rapid boom in economy of Brazil during its modernization development attracts both global attention as well as further research by scholars home and abroad.It's beneficial for later-development countries to make research on the polarization of wealth in the modernization development in Brazil and series of social structure changes caused by it to explore a modernization development road suitable for their own countries.On the basis of previous studies, this thesis reveals the historical and realistic reasons of this social phenomenon further from the spot of the relationship between Brazil modernization and the polarization of wealth, looking forward to offer useful experience for the modernization of our country. And the content in its five parts are as follows:First of all, through the definition on'modernization'and the discussion on the relationship between modernization and polarization of wealth, highlighting its new characteristics of exploring the problems of polarization of wealth from the angle of modernization, this article expands it discussion.Secondly, it reviewed the history of the polarization of wealth in Brazil before and after the World WarⅡseparately. Before the World WarⅡ, taking the Old Republic period of Brazil as a start point, it disserts the causes of the polarization of wealth in Brazil and its typical performance in the New Republic period. These two parts are mainly to seek the starting reasons of the polarization of wealth in Brazil. Next, it discusses the remarkable economic achievements made by the military regime in the history in Brazil, which attracts the global attention greatly, as well as the causality between it and the increasingly serious polarization of wealth.Thirdly, it inspects the state quo of the polarization of wealth in Brazil. Reviewing its way back to political democracy of Brazil, the new policies by civilians who ruled the country later and the new performance of the polarization of wealth at the current time, the thesis analyzed the fundamental reasons why the severe polarization of wealth appeared in the modernization of Brazil and its solutions.Above all, combined with reality, the thesis discusses the influence of the polarization of wealth to the modernization of Brazil and its enlightenment to China.
