Choose The Path Of Internationalization Of The Rmb

Over 30 years in the past, our country has insisted on reform and opening-up, implemented the strategy of investment drive and export direction. As a result, with the fast development of economy, the comprehensive national strength of our country is greatly heightened. Because the proportion that GDP accounts for in the world is rising constantly, the position of RMB in the pattern of the convertible foreign exchange and economic strength of our country are unbecoming. At present, in the face of the complicated economic situation at home and abroad, our country faces the great task of RMB internationalization in the field of international finance. After the outburst of the global financial crisis initiated the international economy to fall into recession in 2008, the major defect of the present international monetary system appeared, which might cause our country to become the biggest victim of this system. It not only has already increased the urgency of the internationalization of RMB, but also offered the rare historical opportunity for advancing this process in our country .From the reality, because the economy of our country is growing rapidly and the value of RMB is steady, RMB have already presented spontaneous internationalized inclination in our neighbor countries, which has had certain advantages. From international experience, the internationalized course of U.S. dollar, German mark and Japanese yen offers enlightenment for internationalization of RMB. This text is divided into four parts to explain these questions: How to seize the opportunity and utilize the existing advantage of RMB from the reality of our country and combine international experience walks on the way of a monetary internationalization of suiting our country.Part One is about theory. Relevant concepts in monetary internationalization, the condition and income of the monetary internationalization are mainly analyzed in this part.Part Two is the international experience that is drawn lessons from the reviewed course of internationalization of U.S. dollar, German mark and Japanese yen and enlightenment of the internationalization of RMB.Part Three is the process and the newest progress of the internationalization of RMB, which analyzes the reform in exchange rate of RMB and the opening-up of the capital item, the development of the card business and the peripheral circulation situation of RMB . It also analyzes our country's advances in the newest progress of the internationalization of RMB after global financial crisis broke out.The design of route to the internationalization of RMB in this part is as follows: Combine four currencies of two sides and realize"domestication"of RMB at home . Based on China --ASEAN(Association of South-east Asian Nations) Free Trade Area, regionalization of RMB is advanced and then the internationalization of RMB is promoted with the domestication and regionalization of RMB.The problem of RMB internationalization becomes the focus of studying since 1998 Asian financial crisis, the existing research results have offered certain rational suggestions but it is also insufficient for internationalization of RMB,. The innovation herein lies in designing the route of the internationalization of RMB from a new angle. On the basis of political relaxation between two sides of mainland and Taiwan and Foundation of China--ASEAN(Association of South-east Asian Nations) Free Trade Area, the thesis proposes the advance of RMB internationalization in coordination with both sides——mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and China --ASEAN as two platforms and promoting the internationalization of RMB with the internal and external optimization of environment.
