China, the textile and clothing producing country, had become a leading enterprise in export for a long history. But in recent years, the situation has changed. The Third World countries because of lower labor costs have also joined the ranks of producers sharing the market with China. Economic crisis leaded to a large number of factory closures, foreign importers import growth slowed down, RMB appreciation. All factors suffered heavy losses to the apparel industry. The author as a professional experienced the arrival of this moment. The author adopted on the development process of China's apparel industry to see clothing ancient times, and indicated that human life is closely related to the existence of diversity.This essay studies four aspects, including the garment industry development status and development trend of domestic and foreign brand apparel case studies, the domestic apparel industry development difficulties, Genstex Company's Strategy. Garment industry, a traditional industry, has been for thousands of years history. The essay reviews the origin and evolution of the garment industry, the regional distribution of industries, especially the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and the Bohai Sea area. Not only will the developments of garment industry thriving, but the use of labor also the country's stability had a profound effect. In recent years, China's garment industry has a large development and greatly promoted the development of national economy.In addition, successful brand development track is worthy of study and research。HUGO BOSS is currently the world's most famous suit manufacturers and distributors. They seize the mainstream market and price positioning. Domestic brand "Metersbonwe" have become role models in local market. Their virtual management, system management, optimization of culture organizations is the main advantages to go success.Again, garment companies in China's clothing market have only two ways----export and domestic sales. In 2009, the financial crisis caused the disperses of garment industry, mainly due to the increase in labor costs, raw materials prices, third world countries sharing market, RMB appreciation, export tax rebate rate down, weakening the United States and other major export markets.Finally, the author tells the history of Genstex company and strengths and weaknesses analysis. It includes internal business development, strategic adjustment of the corporate culture, as well as open up new markets to relieve the pressure on the financial crisis.
