Interview is more and more widely used in China as one of the most important qualitative research methods in management researches. However, there is always lack of a scientific method to the collation and analysis of materials of management interviews. Grounded theory has been considered as one of the most scientific qualitative research methods, which has been extensively used in the areas of nursing, sociology, anthropology, psychology and pedagogy abroad and in those of sociology, anthropology and psychology in China. Although the universal applicability of grounded theory in management area has been discussed and researchers have tried to apply it to management researches at home and abroad, there have been few discussion that whether there are any differences in the application of grounded theory in management researches as grounded theory was invented in the areas of sociology and anthropology, and any difficuties in the application owing to those differences.In this paper, the differences of the application of grounded theory between area of management and those of sociology and anthropology etc. have been discussed on the distinctions of areas and the collection method interviews between them. Then taking the researches of the development of TCM medical institutions in Malaysia for example, the procedures of grounded theory affected by the interviews of management researches and the difficulties and solutions to them among these procedures have been displayed so as to be useful to the collection and analysis of interviews'materals of other management researches.While those in the areas of sociology and anthropology etc., which have invented the grounded theory and the purpose of which is to establish theories of "what", are long-term field ones, the interviews in management researches as a whole, which tend to study "how" through "what", are a small number of short-term non-field ones because of the higher applied degree and divergent. As a result, when the grounded theory is used in management researches, the procedure could be end up at different stages on distinglish research purposes, the categories could be less abstract and the descriptions connected as the categories were.The difficulties of application of grounded theory in the interview study of management not only stem from The specificity above, but also from the complexity of grounded theory and qualitative research software. This paper has shown the solution to them, such as sampling from literature, how to choose the interviewees and form an interview outline but avoiding an extrapolation research, and how to code line by line, utilize the paradigm and storyline. hoping desperately that this study could be a help to those who want to do some qualitative research based on grounded theory.
