| The growing trend toward the integration and globalization of the world economy and the spread of international financial crisis, posed a severe challenge for construction enterprises in China. It was an issue for every manager of large state-owned construction enterprises to consider that how to dig themselves in in the construction market full of fierce competitions whereby superior enterprises would prosper and inferior ones be eliminated. Apart from taking such basic measures as seizing the opportunity, being bold in reform, seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages, improving their own strength to adjust themselves to the new competitive circumstances, the enterprises should also, in terms of the development strategy for enterprises, try to find their own competitive advantages, diversify modes of management and create economic growth points to improve their core competition capacity.By combining the theoretical generalization and instance research adopting the theory of strategic management and other related theories, this paper analyzed the external conditions and inner resources of the company, generalized the disadvantages as well as advantages, threaten as well as chances, and then educed the main relations between "the internal advantages" and "the external threaten" of S company. The management strategy of diversification was regarded as a necessary and correct decision for S company. And then the strategy system and implementation strategy of S company were further improved.This study found that it is necessary for CREC S company to adequately utilize current resources, strengthen strategic alliance, implement a diversified development strategy and combine internal and external advantages and chances to ease the pressure of competitions, avoid operating risks, and maintain sustainable development. During the process of diversification, the key to success of the diversified business strategy was the improvement of core-competitiveness of enterprises.On the basis of theoretical analysis, the dissertation emphasized on the analysis of the successful practice and also theory of diversified management of S company. By combining such related theories as value theory of enterprises, theory of supply-chain and theory of core-competitiveness, it made an analysis and evaluation for the. diversified development strategy, and then put forward the diversified development strategy as well as its operating methods and future plan, which combined the advantages both of the internal resources and external circumstances, and which considered the improvement of the core-competitiveness of enterprises as its motivation, and the integration of the core link industries of the value chain as its focus. Also some reference was put forward for the planning and operation of diversified management strategy of other construction enterprises in China. |
