The highway construction market is one of the earliest open markets of china in which business restriction is broken. As our country has been succeeded in joining the WTO, the globalization and integration trend in economic development have been impelled, more and more construction enterprises at home and abroad pour into the highway construction market, resulting in growing tendency toward the highway construction competition. Characteristic of overcompetition in highway construction market has been shown and core competitiveness would have to be taken if enterprises were to win the competition.In the thesis, theories of value chain have been adapted for highway construction enterprises. The specific value chain composition of highway construction enterprises is researched, based on the highway construction enterprise circumstances, and the elements of core competitiveness are researched.The thesis builds fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory by value chain analytical technique, according to the elements of core competitiveness of highway construction enterprises. In addition, the thesis analyzes and evaluates the core competitiveness of highway construction enterprises by combining analytic hierarchy process with fuzzy evaluation, and researches competitive advantage of highway construction enterprises. At the same time, unifying the theory and the practice, the thesis uses long jian highway bridge limited liability Company as a base for analytic demonstration, and puts forward the strategic guidance to promote the core competitiveness of this enterprise.
