Since the 1990s, the trend of economic globalization and regional integration has been developed rapidly, while mutual cooperation and integration increase greatly. More and more countries fever of contracting bilateral Free Trade Agreements around world to expand regional economic cooperation and improve economic growth. In this background, steady economic growth and close economic relationship create favorable conditions for the establishment of China-Korea FTA.The study is based on HS system code. By classifying the industry segment into agricultural sector and manufacturing sector, it compares the intra-industry trade index, trade specialization index and revealed comparative advantage index. Then analyses are made on the trade characteristics, division structure, complementarity and rivalrousness. Meanwhile, bottleneck sectors and dominant sectors in the Chine-Korea FTA construction cause are pointed out. At last, relevant policy recommendations about how to ease the burden of those bottleneck sectors and how to reduce the conflict between China and Korea are putted forward. The main conclusions are as follows. Firstly, the sensitive sectors in construction China-Korea FTA are:aquatic product, cereals, vegetable and fruit products, optical medical equipment, chemical products, textiles, mechanical and electrical equipment. In this regard, China and Korea should jointly resolve the obstacles and challenges in the bilateral FTA construction process. Firstly, they should search after open approaches to sensitive industries. Secondly, optimizing structure of trading commodities should be done. Thirdly, they can get trade liberalization by trade facilitation. Fourthly, they should find out the link point between comparative advantages and competitive advantages for a strategic competition and cooperation.
