Project management employs a variety of knowledge, skills and technology in project activities for achieving the knowledge system of project aim. It exists everywhere and all the time. For the enterprise that is a functional organization, it is practical and significant to the make a research on how to promote effectively and optimize the management process, through the methods of project management and regard fundamental sales theories, experiences and lines as major methods in market lunching and promotion.The paper first discussed the problems existed in current mode of sales and management and the tendency that make the market sales activities projected. And it pointed that, in the perspective of project management, the innovation on sales management is the demand of the work. The promotion activities serve as an important part in sales work, the knowledge of project management played significant role in sales management.Secondly, with employment of management knowledge, the paper found out all kinds of problems and shortcomings in detail trough analysis of the case of promotion steps in preparatory work of Company A. It pointed out the limits of sales promotion on the basis of experience and process mode. Then, it redesigned the every step of the promotion activities according to project management. At last, it put forward a optimized plan on promotion on the basis of project management practice and theories.In the end, the paper made the case introduce in current and ordinary promotion activities in modern market, and put forward the procedures, then, clarified the significance of project management knowledge on directing the sales activities, and next, hoped to make positive impact on the practice and theories of project management among the same enterprise and the same market activities.
