China's City Commercial Banks, Information Technology Integration Analysis

As the competition in the banking market becoming more and more intense, the informatization of banking has been the core power to support the risk--prevention from banks, the innovation of professional field, the improvement of service and so on. However, lacking on overall plan in the initial period, which leads the deeper problems as complete structure and a missed design in the process of practising the system, the circuit of work is isolated, the data management dispersed and the coupling of application gets severer day after day. In order to solve the problem called'information soli'that exists widely, it is necessary for the commercial banks to develop a way of informatization integration, and which has also been reached an agreement that is a strategic investment, the concept'integration'has run through every level of IT construction and thoroughly combined with the work and service of banks.This paper researched from the perspectives of the entire course and current situation of the banking informatization, which is devided into two parts that are technology and professional work, analysing the source and disadvantages of the problem'information soli', putting forward the idea and purpose of informatization integration and describing the necessity and urgency of it. On the basis of that, my paper chooses two technical directions to research from the concrete need of urban commercial banks. Firstly from the aspect of data integration, it introduces the correlative technical concept and situation of applying of data warehouse and takes the uniform data integration platform and the comprehensive commercial intellective solution as the objectives, and illustrates the approach of the banking data integration based on data warehouse. Then from the aspect of application integration, it introduces the technical concept and the situation of application about EBS(Enterprise Service Bus. Considering advanced standard banking application system and structure according to SOA as the goal, my paper brings forward the approach of banking application integration based on EBS(Enterprise Service Bus). In my specific approach, the aim of design, the principle of construction and the whole structure of approach are described. The complete procedure which the project is carrying out is also been introduced in detail. Then this paper generalizes the main factors of risk and the points of practising experience. In the last part, my paper gives some suggestions on the noticeable problems in the long-term procedure of project construction by summarizing the phenomenon named informatization integration of urban commercial banks.This paper takes the widely existed problems in the constructing of urban commercial banking informatization as examples. This approach is somehow valuable for the practising of informatization integration of the internal urban commercial banks, which is in the reference of the advanced technical construction and methodology when actualizing it from many IT companies.
