ObjectiObjective: To observe the effects of soyasaponins on Lipid Metabolism andAntioxidant, then explore possible mechanism of soyasaponinss on lipid metabolism,blood flow changes and effective antithrombotic dose.Methods: 48 male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into normal control group,model group, aspirin group, soyasaponins high, medium and low dose group. Exceptthe normal control group, the other five were fed with high fat diet. During thisexperiment, soyasaponins high, medium and low dose groups respectively received80,40,20 mg.kg-1.d-1.Aspirin control group received aspirin orally 10mg.kg-1.d-1.Normal control group and high fat group received equal volume of distilled water.Weighing the rat weight two times a week, intragastric administration adjustedaccording to the amount of fed. Measured the serum cholesterol in 3,5,7,9 weeks.After the experiment, serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high densitylipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C);Serumsuperoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity,malondialdehyde (MDA) content were detected; Detected the related indexes ofhemorheology. Determined prothrombin time (PT-S), Activated prothrombin time(APTT-S), Fibrinogen (FIB), International normalized ratio (R-INR) ; Rats' livers andaortic arch were fixed by formalin and embedded by paraffin to be used formorphology check. Data results expressed as mean±standard deviation(x±s),analyzed by pairwise comparisons of ANOVA .Results1, After 3 weeks, serum TC level of model group was significantly higher than thatof the control group (P <0.05); soyasaponins group tended to decrease, comparedwith model group was not significant (P>0.05). At 9 weeks, serum TC level ofsoyasaponins high dose group and soyasaponins medium group was significantlylower than that of high fat model group (P <0.05).2, Compared with model group, soyasaponins group AI, R-CHD decreased, HDL /TC ,anti-atherogenic factor (HDL / TC) ,lipid index (LCI) increased (P <0.05).3, Compared with model group, SOD;GSH-PX ;TOX conten of soyasaponins groupincreased, MDA content decreased (P <0.05).4, Compared with model group, the ralated indexes of hemorheology of soyasaponins group decreased significantly (P <0.05).5, Compared with model group, aspirin group, soyasaponins group of activatedpartial thromboplastin time and prothrombin time higher than the model group,plasma fibrinogen decreased, with statistical significance (P <0.05).6, According to biopsy, steatosisi and AS in soyasaponins group was lighter than thatof high fat model group.ConclusiConclusion: The soyasaponins can significantly improve lipid metabolism,antioxidant capacity, and improve blood rheology and coagulation.
