Research And Implementation Of Dicom Print Across Platforms

Detection of hospital clinics and development of modern medicine rely more and more modern work of the inspection results. Medical image computer archiving and communication system (PACS) is an important part in a hospital information system. It is mainly to solve five aspects of problems which include the medical images'acquisition and digital,image storage and management,high-speed transmission of digital medical images,processing and reproduction of digital image and integration of image information and other information.With improvement and development of PACS and DICOM standard information systems, more and more hospitals have conditions to run large-scale hospital information system. Currently due to different environments in various hospitals, different hospitals may use different operating systems to run the PACS system. Designing cross-platform PACS system is able to meet the needs of the hospital environment. PACS and DICOM Print Management is an integral module of the system, so this paper had aimed to realize the cross-platform implementation of DICOM print management capabilities, the main work includes:1. Introduced the research background and status of research abroad.2. Analysised some major key issues of cross-platform DICOM printing and related tools to use, and descriped the system design plan.3. Design setion has done a brief introduction of the DICOM standard, has analysised system requirements and the needs to achieve class print management services, printing and image processing of a UML modeling, and analysised DICOM communication mechanism design.4. Realization section has realized the system according to the system design plan, mainly has achieved three aspects about cross-platform, DICOM network printing and image processing. Test section has done the testing to the implementation of the system about cross-platform and network printing, finally testing has successed.
