Evidence Of .151 Blood Stasis Syndrome In Patients With Chronic Heart Failure, Treatment-related Factors Were Retrospectively Analyzed

ObjectiveTo study blood stasis syndrome of chronic heart failure and the relationship between cards and folders, perform a preliminary study of the distribution of syndromes with different levels of cardiac function and drug laws of blood stasis syndrome in order to make better clinical guide of drugs, improve the clinical efficacy, and provide a scientific basis for studies of blood circulation therapy treating chronic heart failure.MethodsA review and organization of hospitalized cases from June 2007 to January 2011, in the Department of Cardiology, Integrative Medicine who recieved treatment of chronic heart failure was finished. Basic information, including gender, age, underlying diseases; diagnosis, including the Western diagnosis, Chinese medicine diagnosis of disease name, classification, etc.; he first dose of Chinese medicine prescriptions on admission, were included in the statistics. SPSS 18.0 statistical package was ultilized for statistics, categorical variables were stated by percentage (%) and analyzed by chi-square (χ2) test, P<0.05 was considered statistically significant; the impacts of the main card on the other card were analyzed by principal component analysis.Results151 patients were observed and devided into blood stasis and non-blood stasis group according to the blood stasis, non-blood stasis syndrome diagnosis method in the "blood stasis epidemiological survey methods to quantify diagnostic studies". Of which 57 cases of blood stasis syndrome group of are male and 48 cases are female; the age ranked from 39 to 94, with a longest duration of 68 years and a shortest of 4 months; while 21 males,25 female in Non-BSS group, the age ranked from 34 to 85, with a longest duration of 30 years and a shortest of 1 months. There were no significant statistical difference in the general information between the two groups.There were 87 qi deficiency cases,33 Yang deficiency cases,40 yin deficiency cases,31 wetness cases and phlegm cases in all 105 cases of blood stasis patients with chronic heart failure. Qi deficiency and wetness are the most common folder types in blood stasis syndromes. According to principal component analysis, Qi deficiency and yang deficiency arranged in the front place in the first principal component, having a positive correlation with blood stasis, and the wetness type and yin deficiency arranged in the front place in the second principal component, which came to the following conclusion:Qi-type> Yang-type> wet-type> Yin-type> phlegm type.In all heart failure patients, there were 28,73,50 cases at classⅡ, classⅢand classⅣrespectively, of which patients at classⅢare most common, while most heart failure patients at varying class have blood stasis. For patient at classⅡ, qi deficiency type>blood stasis>yang deficiency type>wetness type; classⅢ, blood stasis syndrome>Qi-type>wetness-type>Yin-type; classⅣ,phlegm type> blood stasis> Yang-type> Qi type.In the aspect of Chinese medicine, the blood circulation drugs are the most frequently used drug, followed by qi-invigorating medicine and water-dampness-excreting medicine, which coincided with the qi card folder type> yang-type> wetness-type> yin-type> phlegm type conclusion. Of all blood circulation drugs, blood-harmonizing medicine including Salvia, Angelica, blood-promoting medicine such as safflower, Zeeland, blood-breaking medicine such as Curcuma, Tri were most frequently used Chinese medicine.ConclusionBlood stasis is the major syndrome of Chronic heart failure patients with Qi, Yang deficiency as its main folders. Traditional Chinese medicine has a multi-channel, multi-link, multi-target advantages, and blood circulation medicine play an essential role in heart failure treating by protecting vascular endothelial cell, anti-platelet aggregation, coagulation, lipid preoxidation, anti-inflammatory action, particularly Salvia, Angelica, Sichuan Shao, habitat, Motherwort, peach kernel, triangular, Zeeland,11 kind of blood-circulation-promoting medicine with high frequency use. Based on the result above, we believe blood stasis is the most common chronic heart failure syndrome, clinical blood circulation drugs have significant advantage in alleviating the clinical symptoms of heart failure and physical signs, improving prognosis and quality of life, especially adjusting patients' overall condition.
