| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of treatment of chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(CITP) of Qi deficiency by ASTRAGALUS MEMBRANACEUS (AM) injection and Vitamine C(vitc), and study the possible mechinism. Methods: Effect of 30 Patients of CITP in treatment group treated by AM injection and 30 Patients in the Control group treated by vitc were observed and Compared in BPC megakaryocyte and immunology. Results: The markedly effective, improved and total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, the platelet- roducing megakaryocyte percentage increased from 11.4% to 31.8%, significantly after therapy, Immunologic test shoved that the humoral and cell immune function were abnormal in Cli? Patients. These functions were improved after treatment, the effectiveness of the treatment group was significantly superior to that of the control group. Conculusion: Am injection is reliable in treating CITP of Qi deficienty clinically. Its mechanism might be better clue to bi- irectional regulation of cell immune function and its selective suppression of humoral immune function. |
