Objective TO Study T cell tolerance and its mecha-nism on rheumatoidarthritis(RA) mediated with electroacuPuncture(EA). Methods We measuredcontens of 5-HT. HA in affected area and CS. IL-2 \ T lymphocytes apoptosis inblood and Fas/FasL in thyInocyte as welI as GCR by means of ElISA,radioimmunoassay immu-nohistochemstry on adjuvant arthIitis(AA) ammal mode1treated with EA on "Zuanli". Results We fOund that there is a significiantdifference on pain threshold and swelling changes at locality betWeen EA and modelgroup; the contens of 5-HT and HA on affected area in EA group are aPparent lessthap model one(P<0.0l). The aPopotosis rate in AA grouP is 29.52% while in EAone 43.88%; In addition, both the level of CS in blood and GCR in thymocyte in EAgroup are more than that model one, the level of IL-2 in blood shows significantdifference between AA and EA grouP(P<0.05), Moreover, the expression ofFasNasL in thymocyte in EA grouP is more aPparent than in model one(P<0.05),ConcIusion These results suggest that EA can relive swel1ing and stop pain bydiscrease contents of 5-HT and HA in affected area ) on the other hand, EA canincrease T lymphoc}rtes apoptosis rate and mediate T cell tolerance which is possiblemodulated with neuroirnmunoregulation netWork by increasing the qua1ity of CS.GCR and IL-2 and enhance the expression of FasNasL in thymocyte. |
