lAbstract I Objective To research for the relationship of the hypertensive stritification to levels of plasma ADM, ET- 1 and ANP, those peptides were studied in patients with essential hypertension (EH). Method 80 essential hypertensives were randomly recruited and divided into 4 groups: mild risk one, moderate risk one, high risk one , veiy high risk one and 20 healthy persons as normal control group. The blood samples were obtained from each fasting patient in the morning. The levels of plasma ADM, ET- 1 and ANP were detemiined by radio immunoassay. Results The plasma ADM, ET-1 concentrations were significantly higher in hypertensive groups than those in control group (p0.05 ). The plasma ADM levels were significantly correlated with plasma ET-l levels (r0.57, p0.05). Systolic blood pressure in these patients was colTelated with plasma ADM and ET-l levels (r~0.65, p |
