Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a high attack rate and death rate disease of heart and blood vessels these years. A part of patients died of sudden death out of hospitals who didn't receive diagnosis and treatment in time. Though there are many methods with and without hurtfulness to diagnose coronary artery disease now, they all have limitation in use. And hurtful inspections are not accepted easily by patients. Both sensitivity and specificity of inspections without hurtfulness are not satisfactory. For these reasons, the reliableness in diagnosing coronary artery disease is not satisfactory, which makes a part of patients missed and left out in diagnosing. And a part of patients can't move for some reasons, so we need research a kind of safe, reliable inspection method to diagnose coronary artery disease which can be accepted by patients easily. We did a lot of work combining this actual situation. At the same time, we chose disease examples in a year and were engaged in the clinical research of dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE).Patients with tipical angina pectoris and tipical ST-T changes in ECG when occuring and resting which are diagnosed coronary artery disease are chosen. There are eighty examples together (Article contract needs thirty examples). Dobutamine (DOB) is injected into the veins of the patients chosed with the increasing concentration by pumps (or controlled by hands). The changes of blood pressure, pulse and electrocardiography are observed at the time of three minites before every standing of the test and five minites after it. And the numerical values of every ventricle and LVEF are surveyed by UCG.The observation of DSE clinical information: Contrasting the eighty examples who are suspicious CAD patients or true CAD patients, we get the conclusion that the sensitivity and specificity of DSE in diagnosing CAD are more than 80%,which means that DSE can help to check CAD. And the method is safe and has few side-effects.There are no serious dangers in use.All the patients can accept it.The operater of the DSE can easily control the quantity of DOB. The medicine's t1/2 is short. It has few side-effects which can make up the drawback of motion test.It can be used to diagnose CAD and is better than other methods. It is a kind of test without hurtful and not depending on moving which can be accepted easily by most of the patients. It can be used in clinical diagnosis widely.
