| Objective To study the methods and the value of clinical application of CT virtual colonoscopy (CTVC). Methods Twenty-six cases by suspected colorectal disease underwent multi-slice spiral CT and data was reconstructed, compared with colonofibroscope and barium enema examination, prospective studies were proceeded in accordance with operation-pathology. Results CTVC was performed in 26 cases in which 24 cases were performed colonofibroscope examination, 7 cases were performed barium enema examination, 19 cases were proved by surgery and pathology. Conclusion CTVC is a non-invasive and useful tool in the detection of space-occupying lesion of the colon. CTVC has good prospect of clinical application. |
