Menstruation Menopause Pill Treatment Of Menopausal Syndrome, Clinical Observations,

Objective:To observe the clinical effect and the safety on Tian Gui Geng Nian Pill (TGGNP) treating female climacteric syndrome (deficiency of yin between the liver and the kidney and blood stasis ). To provide scientific bases for TGGNP's application in clinic.Method:40 cases of female climacteric syndrome were divided into two groups randomly: TGGNP treatment group and Geng Nian An Capsule (GNAC) control group, each of which contained 20 cases. TGGNP group and GNAC group were given TGGNP and GNAC respectively for taking orally. Treatment period was three months. Before and after the treatment, clinical symptoms, sexual hormone, hemorheology and safety indices of patients were observed.Results:1. The rate of recovery of TGGNP was 60% , the total effective rate was 95%. The rate of recovery of GNAC was 55%, the total effective rate was 95%. By means of statistical analysis, there was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05).2. Both groups can obviously ameliorate the correlate symptoms (PO.01). There wasn't marked difference between two groups on the improving the same symptom (P>0.05).3. Both groups can regulate the level of patients estradiol and follicle stimulating hormone. There was no significant difference between two groups by statistical analysis (P>0.05).4. Comparing the hemorheology of two groups between pretreatment and post-treatment, there was no significant difference between two groups in the high-cutting whole blood viscosity and hematocrit. The treatment group had significant difference in low-cutting whole blood viscosity and fibrinogen before and after the treatment (P<0.05), the control group didn't (P>0.05). In the whole low-cutting recovered viscosity between pretreatment and post-treatment, the treatment group had more significant difference (P<0.01) and the control group had significant difference (P<0.05). Both groups after the treatment hadn't significant difference in the whole low-cutting recovered viscosity (P>0.05).5. Safety inspection: There was no abnormal changes by inspecting blood routine, urine routine, stool routine, Hepatic function, renal function and ekectrocar diogram electrocardiograph (ECG) before and after the treatment. Although there were several abnormal terms before the treatment, there were not aggravated. It indicated that TGGNP was safe, effective and no toxic side effect in the course of clinical application.Conclusion:TGGNP can effectively treat female climacteric syndrome examined deficiency of yin between the liver and the kidney and blood stasis, ameliorate the correlate symptoms obviously and regulate the level of patients' sexual hormone and hemorheology. It is safe, effective and no toxic side effect.
