The Clinical Research Of Invigorating Kidney And Removing Blood Stasis Method On Treating Ovarian Cancer With Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome

ObjectiveThis prospective randomized controlled trial is to evaluate the clinical effect of invigorating kidney and removing blood stasis method for ovarian cancer with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Through this study,we hope to relieve the clinical symptom and perimenopausal like syndrome for the quality of life improvement of the patients.MethodsThe 40 cases of ovarian out-patients who met inclusion criteria were from The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM.The total cases were randomly divided equally into treatment group and control group.The treatment group patients were treated by the changed Bushenquyufang while the control group were taken Kuntai capsule three times a day,4 capsules each time.The course of 2 groups last for 28 days.Karnofsky score,TCM symptom score,kupperman index,serum sex hormone such as estradiol,follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone were recorded before and after the research.Results1.Karnofsky score both increased in treatment group and control group after treatment,the difference had statistically significance(P<0.05).There were no difference between two groups on karnofsky score after treatment(P>0.05).2.TCM symptoms score in two groups had significantly decrease after treatment.There had significant change between the treatment group and the control group after the research(P<0.05).The curative rate in the treatment group was 85%,compared with the control group 45%,had statistically significance(P<0.05).3.In the comparison of the three serum sex hormone,estradiol in the treatment group was higher than that before the treatment,which difference had statistically significance(P<0.05).While in contrast to the control group,estradiol,follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone in the treatment group had no statistically difference(P>0.05).4.In the aspect of Kupperman index,comparison on degree distribution of perimenopausal like syndrome had significant difference between two group after treatment(P<0.05).The treatment group showed significant improvement in Kupperman index than the control group(P<0.05).The scores of tidal fever with sweating,paresthesia fatigue and numb limb descended lower than that in the control group with statistically significance(P<0.05).ConclusionFor patients who suffer from ovarian cancer with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,the method that invigorating kidney and removing blood stasis is effective in relieving TCM symptoms,easing perimenopausel syndrome like tidal fever with sweating,paresthesia fatigue and numb limb.It helps to improve patients’ quality of life,but no obvious impact on serum hormone such as estradiol,follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone,which indicates that the changed Bushenquyufang in treatment of ovarian cancer with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome is safe and effective.
