Objective To study the effect of hyaluronidase on human breast cancer invasion and metastasis. Methods By means of homogeneization of tissue and ELSA, breast cancer, benign breast disease and normal breast tissues specimens were examined for the expression of hyaluronidase. Results Hyaluronidase were 9.15±7.79, 5.75±3.54 and 2.91±1.56mU/g.tissue in breast cancer, benign breast disease and normal breast tissues specimens respectively . Hyaluronidase levels are significantly elevated in breast cancer as compared to benign breast disease and normal breast tissues (p<0.05). Furthermore , hyaluronidase levels in breast cancer is correlated well with its lymph nodes metastasis. Conclusion Hyaluronidase is a severe factor of breast cancer, which play a pivotal role in the invasion and breast cancer metastasis.KEY WORDS Breast Cancer;Hyaluronidase;Invasion and Metastasis...
