To research the medicine aims at manufacturing a pure traditional Chinese preparation to cure skin deseases with itch, with the advantages of high curative effect, non-toxicity, convinient of storage, treatment for both syndrome and origin of the disease, convinient for clinic.The work in the following three aspects was performed: 1. research in preparing technology, including β -cyclodextrin wrapped volatile oil, one-stepped manufacturing granule, the orthogonal test of condition of water extracting technology; 2. research in quality standard of medicine, including identification of Radix Sophorae Flavescentis by TLC, identification of Radix Glycyrrhizae by HPLC, determination of content of ferulic acid in Radix Angeticae Sinensis by HPLC, fingerprint chromatography and limit checking of aristolochic acid in Caulis Aristolochiae Manshuriensis by HPLC; 3. pharmacological research,including test of inhibitory effect on itch induced by medicine, test of inhibition to urticaria with non-immunity, influence on passive hypersusceptibility on skin in mice, influence on hypertrophy cells of periosteum of skull in mice, influence on permeability of capillary vessel in mice, influence on ear swell induced by dimethylbenzene.By the research in the three aspects above, the best manufacturing technology, quality standard of the product and the experimenting method of research in the medicine for skin diseases with itches are determined, so that the experimental basis for modern research in this prescription is provided.
