Clinical Study Of Scalp Acupuncture Treatment Of Ischemic Stroke Recovery

ObjectiveBy observing the clinical effect and the variations of the parameters of blood rheology of the patients who were diagnosed as convalescence of ischemic apoplexy treated by scalp acupuncture, to observe the clinical effect and mechanism of scalp acupuncture to treat ischemic apoplexy.Methods60 cases who had been diagnosed as convalescence of ischemic apoplexy were divided at random into two groups: control group of body acupuncture (BA) and therapeutic group of scalp acupuncture with body acupuncture ( SBA) , both groups have 30 cases respectively. After 2 courses treatment, we observed the symptoms and the variations of the parameters of blood rheology ,and discuss the effect of scalp acupuncture to treat ischemic apoplexy.Results1 Compared to that before treating, assessments of effect of BA after treating were decreased (p<0.05), compared to that before treating, assessments of effect of SBA after treating were significantly decreased (p<0.01); Compared to BA, the function of SBA was more obvious, there was statistically significance (p<0.01).2 Compared to that before treating, the parameters of blood rheology of BA were decreased, there were statistically significance except for concentration of fibrinogen (p<0.05), the parameters of blood rheology of SBA were decreased too, there were statistically significance (p<0.05); Compared to BA, SBA has better curative effect to improve the abnormity of some parameters of blood rheology include whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosiy and concentration of fibrinogen, and there were statistically significance (p<0.05).ConclusionOur research has showed that scalp acupuncture can obviously improve the symptoms and the abnormity of blood rheology of the patients who were diagnosed as convalescence of ischemic apoplexy, and affirmed the curative effect of scalp acupuncture to treat ischemic apoplexy. Trough observing the variation of blood rheology of the patients we conclude that scalp acupuncture has good effect to prove the abnormity of the parameters of blood rheology because of ischemic apoplexy , to improve cerebral blood circulation and moderate the cerebral vascular spasm ,as a result to treat ischemic apoplexy .
