Sophora fruit is dry mature fruit of sophora japonical L. , it is one of Chinese traditional medicine and has same efficacy as eliminating heat and fire, clearing heat from blood to stop bleeding .The main component in Sophora fruit is isoflavones, the same as Genistein Genistin, Rutin and Sophoricoside, the contents of Genistein, Genistin and Rutin have reported by lots of documents and datum but they are not overall , the analysis of chemistry components about Sophora fruit was still little. Sophora fruit has high quantity of Sophoricoside through my laboratory test and has high value for medicine purpose . Studied the contents, Sophoricoside of Sophora fruit, in order to control quality of Sophora fruit and development of new medicine and clinical purpose .it has no contents testing item of Sophora fruit in Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of china(2000). The meeting of Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of china(2005) granted the task to us in order further better to control the quantity of Sophora fruit .Firstly, we studied the extractive means of Sophoricoside, then we studied contents test of Sophoricoside on many occasions by theory of methodology also we had preliminary study of chemistry component about Sophoricoside, we tested contents of Sophora fruit produced in 13 areas at the same time , we completed the task of Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of china(2005) successfully in the end .
