There are two parts in this thesis: documents' review and clinical research. In this study, the mechanism of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis and the progress of treatment of traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and Western Medicine(WM) in the past few years are summed up and systematized. Futhermore , we've expatiated the method of diagnosing by stages deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and observed the result of curing it with Chinese traditional and Western medicine by Color Doppler Flow Imaging (CDFI).Documents' review: In this part, the analysis of epidemiology and perniciousness to mankindand and etiology, pathogenesis, pathology, the method of treating by Chinese traditional and Western medicine of DVT is concluded. Now, TCM and WM think that together affect of blood's componet, blood stream dynamics and vessel' wall cause DVT. There are many method medically to diagnose DVT .To cure DVT with Chinese traditional and Western medicine is an effective method.Clinical research: we diagnosed by stages DVT and observed patients of DVT who treated by Chinese traditional and Western medicine by CDFI. The Chinese traditional medicine and fraxiparin were operated as control medicine and fraxiparin as treatment's medicine.Such is a dual-blind-dual-imitate-co-ntrol method. The results indicate : the normal or abnormality lower extremity veins can be examined in real time by CDFI. And, the image of the vessel which took place embolism of deep vein and treated by Chinese traditional and Western medicine were helpful on proving curative effect of DVT. CDFI is the first diagnosis method for examing the deep venous thrombosis .
